Correos Delivery
We are now 49 days in and still no arrival letter it beggars belief.

Another package from a supplier I have used before arrived In Spain by courier 1/04/22 and has not according to the tracking number moved since, so I contacted the supplier who gave me a different tracking number, so I check it, and it appears that the courier transferred it to Correos on the 2/04, and is now being flagged by Correos with the following message

" This item was not preregistered and cannot be sent to its destination"

Has anyone any idea what this is about? I fear we are getting to the stage where no one will ship anything here, I have had a couplie of instances in the last few weeks, where I have come cross Spanish supplier who do not ship to the Canaries

We finally have some progress, after I asked where my package was on the 28/03, I received a reply that they would produce an arrival letter ASAP, which they could not send by email, " and the postman will deliver it to your house " well it had not happened by yesterday so I email and ask how long can it possibly take to produce an arrival letter, and it arrived today!

Wait for it

By email and to add insult after them having it for 42 days, I have until tomorrow to return the completed form

Well my sister's saga continues in trying to do a reclamation with the UK post office, it was an offer from her phone operator where she paid only 50 quid to upgrade her phone as she's on contract with them so even though the phone is worth many times more they will only pay the amount on the receipt not the true new value.

If she had've just sold the phone as second hand she could've easily got 150 quid.

The phone was posted at the post office which was then flown by DHL then landed in Spain to be taken and lost in Spain, so someone in Correos have themselves a nearly new phone, which they can sell in Spain for 200 euro and it's only going to cost the Correos 50 quid. I just wonder if this will happen again to others or is this a regular scam among their staff? Good Money if you can get it

Ok, This afternoon I have received an Email confirming that the documentation I have submitted is correct { for which I owe a huge thank you to Stephen's {Captain Sensible } daughter who worked out what some of it meant, in which they inform me that due to the high volume of package's they are receiving, working out the import duty will cause a delay  Rolleyes Rolleyes Rolleyes Rolleyes
I have to assume they are using an Abacus and a quill pen to calculate it , and is coming via pigeon post ,or on the next package steamer to leave Gran Canaria.

I'm still waiting for 2 parcels to arrive from UK, sent in Nov. Our postie hasn't been off recently so they must be held up in uk/Madrid /las Palmas.

And I'm still waiting 😭

I've received one of the parcels today!! There was a letter in my post box from customs on Friday. I emailed them everything they asked for over the weekend and they released it 👍 3+ months!!

My second parcel arrived back in the UK yesterday! Company have offered to resend or refund. I've opted to have it sent to my son in UK and I'll pick it up later in year.
The postal service/customs didn't even give me the chance to provide paperwork to clear it at this end!

Just received 2 parcels today
They spent 10 days in customs even though the point of origin was Spain.
They had been opened and well investigated.
They only contained dive kit.
Interestingly on the outside it said(from the sender) "do not take receipt if opened"
But I did.
