Correos Delivery

Was the delivery courier or post? I ordered a small item from The UK on 01/08 came via UPS {Suer }arrived 05/08 with no delay whatsoever

The delivery was Correos post. Orders from Amazon UK via UPS usually take five working days.

Another saga on Correos.
Having not received any post for 3/4 weeks, I went to the Caleta Post Office last Monday, and to put it politely said I was not happy, and please sort it out ASAP
Wednesday afternoon we received our water bill for February.
Wednesday evening circa 19:45 we received the following
2 x Xmas cards posted in Novenber 2023
6 birthday cards for myself posted on various dates between 10/02/2024 and 20/02/2024.
6 wedding anniversary cards, posted on dates between 17/02/2024 and 01/03/2024.
5 easter cards which were posted between 03/03/2024.
2x Mother's Day cards posted, 03/03/2024 from The Uk and 9/03/2024 from Germany.
A letter from our UK bank, which was posted 09/04/2024.
A letter from HMRC was posted on 11/04/2024.
In addition, we were waiting for a parcel from the UK, which was posted on 15/03/2024, which I realised I could track only to discover that an attempt was made on Wednesday to deliver it. In fairness, we were out most of the day, but we have received no contact from Correos to tell us that it is awaiting collection, I know they no longer leave collection slips but email you to let you know to collect it, but nothing whatsoever.
Friday I returned to Caleta Post Office and asked how all this mail which was. all posted on different dates turn up on the same day albeit weeks late. and from what I could understand I was told I should be grateful it turned up at all??? can it get any worse?

John, I can beat that. Last month (11/24) I received time sensitive UK post that had been posted in MAY! It arrived along with several other overdue items, including a reminder sent two months later for the May document. What do they pay them to do?

I didn't realise it was held at the local PO (Antigua for me) so thanks for that. I'm expecting more time sensitive documents, so I'll go to the PO after Xmas.
