This Monday, November 6, the construction of the cruise terminals in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Arrecife and Puerto del Rosario is scheduled to begin simultaneously with an investment of more than 40 million euros, by Global Ports Canary Islands, an 80:20 joint venture between Global Ports Holding and its local partner Sepcan S.L. .
The company expects the terminals to be fully operational by the summer of 2025.
The construction of specialized cruise terminals will contribute positively to the transformation of the sector with a significant impact on the local economy, optimizing the passenger experience in the port through customer-oriented services and in turn favoring the sustainable development of the cruise industry on the islands.
The project has been entrusted to the company Satocan, a leading Canarian company in the construction sector, whose history dates back to the construction of maritime works in the Canary Islands more than four decades ago.
