New passenger terminal for the cruise ship dock in Puerto del Rosario.
This Monday, July 26, the ordinary session of the Board of Directors of the Port Authority was held with the participation of the president of the island council, Sergio Lloret, the last council before the summer, a session where important issues for the development of the island of Fuerteventura were addressed, such as the new passenger terminal for the cruise ship dock in Puerto del Rosario.
Among the agreements adopted, the land concession of 1,319.51 square meters to Global Ports Canary Islands S.L. in the port of the capital of Majorca stands out for the new passenger terminal of the cruise ship dock, highlighting Lloret that "it is great news for the island of Fuerteventura, fulfilling a demand of years ago and improving the facilities and services offered in the dock belonging to Puertos del Estado to improve and consolidate cruise tourism on our island".
Lighthouses of Fuerteventura
On the other hand, once obtained months ago the administrative concessions for the improvements planned by the cabildo of Fuerteventura both in the Lighthouse of the Punta de Jandía and in the Lighthouse of the Entallada, yesterday the extension was agreed for the presentation of the projects promoted from the culture service of the island council, that advance at a good pace and in a few months will be drafted to move to the work phase and improve these two enclaves of reference on the island, related to the museum, cultural and gastronomic offer.
