Forum Migration Alert: Temporary Downtime on June 14th

My alerts (red new) still don't clear until I exit the forum.

Hi Sam, I did as you asked on this actual thread before I posted on it. So I opened it read your message refreshed the page, exited back to main page.
On main page with headers for ‘All about the Fuerteventura forum’ topic with bullet point, the thread still appeared as unread on the bullet point, BUT on the sub page ‘All about the Fuerteventura forum’ it now shows as read. Hope this helps.

Just tried something else, I went to an unread thread, then exited the thread, pressed refresh and it cleared , back pages to main menu page, it’s still showed as unread, Refreshed and it’s no longer showing as unread, so it’s really only a matter of page refreshing. Happy Days. 😀

Not had a chance to look at cookies yet as I don’t use Safari for my browser I use Chrome.

From View New Posts, read a NEW Post, return to View new Posts, and it is still in BOLD (unread), refresh page and it shows as read.
