It's great that the order form includes pics of the species and guides to approx. heights when full grown.

Has everyone had their call to arrange collection? I know someone who collected on 24th and my neighbour is due to collect on Friday but I haven't had a call yet.

Tamara. I got my call and collected my plants on 02 July. One of the first to turn up.
I didn't get what I asked for, though. No palm trees (requested 4 or 5). My friend only just got her call for this week. It's a slow process as they only do a handful at a time and in strict order. Good luck with your choices.

Collected my plants this morning, mainly what I'd ordered and a few I hadn't! Was offered more plants if I wanted them!
Couple of interesting things I saw while there: Trees along the lane had beautiful growths of lichens on their trunks: ![]() Several large birds of prey in the rehabilitation aviary:

Not really related but I didn't think this post was worthy of it's own thread so added it here!
I was sitting outside a bar in Tindaya having coffee yesterday ......... watching 3 large trees being planted in front of the children's play area. According to one of the old boys who was watching with me (we're easily entertained!) they came from near the old school in Villaverde. They'd obviously been well pruned before they arrived judging by the thickness of the trunks and branches but had what I consider to be very small root balls. The guys spent a lot of time getting them just so and watering but they put no stakes in to help them stay upright and no fencing to stop anyone leaning against them! With teh high winds due over the next few days I hope they stay upright! They are also very close to the telephone wires!
