from RTVAC: (loads of extra buses!)

The Council of Transports of the Cabildo de Fuerteventura, directed by Jonathan Gil, and the concessionary company of the insular service of guaguas, Tiadhe, have organized a special service of guaguas so that the assistants to the Festival Fuerteventura en Música 2019 can resort to collective transport and leave private vehicles at home.

The service has departures from the bus stations of Puerto del Rosario and Corralejo with multiple frequencies in direct journeys, starting at 6:00 pm on Friday, July 5 and Saturday, July 6. The return routes from Cotillo to Corralejo and Puerto del Rosario will end at 8 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, although there will also be multiple connections throughout the respective mornings.

The FEM will take place on July 5 and 6 at La Concha beach. It presents a group poster led by 'Mägo de Oz', the British 'London Afrobeat Collective', the French-Senegalese 'Natty Jean', the Colombians' Ghetto Kumbé ', the Granadans' Los Vecinos del Callejón', the Ghanaians' Kyekyeku & Ghanlogue Highlife ', the malagueños' Jarrillo'Lata' and the local bands' Sirinoque Folk ',' Non Trubada 'and' Chocolate Sexy '.

On Friday, July 5, the bands' Non Trubada ',' Chocolate Sexy ',' Jarrillo'Lata ',' Los Vecinos del Callejón 'and' London Afrobeat Collectiv'e will perform with the 'Dj Meneo' sessions. On Saturday 6 will be the turn for 'Sirinoque Folk', 'Kyekyeku & Ghanlogue Highlife', 'Ghetto Kumbé', 'Natty Jean,' 'Mägo de Oz' and 'Dj Benas'.

'Mägo de Oz' will arrive for the first time to the island in full tour of presentation of its new disc, Ira Dei (2019), published the past 8 of March.

The hours of the concerts will be from 20:00 to 3:00 on Friday night, and from 20:00 to 4:00 on Saturday.

Yes it is on this year, very well organised and if the bands are your type of music what a fantastic FREE couple of nights of entertainment.

We had dinner at Azzuro the restaurant just behind the stage so could park near by but if your are just attending the concert there are road closures and parking is up in town  behind the Football ground so a 15 minute walk over to the beach. We left early and there were still loads of people arriving.

We have never seen so many camper vans and tents along the coast toward the lighthouse, many having their own little parties before going down to the main stage area

The bus service was working but very few people were using it of the 6 buses we saw I bet there fewer than 25 people getting off.
