The GES helicopter rescued a man who was left in an area of difficult access this noon
At 2:25 p.m. this afternoon, a man was rescued who at the initial moment of assistance had serious brain trauma.
The GES helicopter had to be activated and transferred in a medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura.
At the time indicated above, the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert reporting the accidental fall of a man into a ravine, from a height of about 6 metres, leaving him in an area of difficult access for rescue by land.
1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
The GES helicopter rescued the victim and transferred him to the helipad of the hospital where a medicalized ambulance from the SUC took care of his assistance to the hospital emergency department.
Firefighters collaborated with GES personnel in the rescue of the affected person.
