Hi I know exactly where you mean, I thought the road sign says La Caleta and if you zoom in on Google maps it says Residencial La Caleta, out of interest are you going to be swj web marketing which is also pinned on google maps for that area?

Sorry can't assist with internet options in that area hopefully someone else will be able to assist.

Hi Stewart, you have 2 or 3 options available

JRM WIFI          http://wifi5.netservice.es/direct/venta....TSPOTRURAL

NETSERVICE     http://netservice.es/fusion-con-netservice/

MOVIESTAR VIA A SIM/ROUTER

I use Netservice 4mb/40€ a month, streaming better with 10mb a little more expensive.

I would rate the service as adequate, reasonably reliable, but you take what what you can get here as no ASDL/FIBRE is available as cables are old and will not carry the required signal (and dont believe any service that tells you they can provide ASDL, AS THEY CANT!!!

Hope this helps.

We use Netservices/Rural Internet here in Caleta, they are based in Rosario, so I assume they are the same company, we pay just over €48 for 24 Mbps, €40 for 4 Mbps seems a tad pricey?

Hi.  Just checking JRM. Cannot see where to find the speed for the various rates. Thought I could give it a try for the week, but no idea if the speed is any good for streaming. What's your experience.

Not according to a previous post:

https://fuerteventura.click/Thread-Fibre...6#pid20466

I've seen similar comments elsewhere, e.g. on Trustpilot

I was interested in the latest Amelia Bolger YouTube video on the cost of living in Fuerteventura:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34MRM8R7on8

where they say they moved from a previous supplier to using a Vodaphone mobile phone as a hotspot and went from IPTV being unwatchable to being fine and getting about 20Mb (from memory) download speeds.

From memory is Movistar not about 37 per month for 300Mb speed (which I think is similar to what Amelia is paying but also think they are out in the country somewhere)?
