Bill, I've been really tempted to look at it, particularly as the 450e equipment was available free recently, but currently at half price. However, what is holding me back is the absence of some accurate download/upload speeds. The figure I found was 300+. I can get that off a mobile sim card for less than 20e a month, so why would I sign up for a 65e package??
If anyone has further information, it would be great if you could share it please. Tom.

I'm not sure if we are allowed to cross-link to Facebook, but some interesting/informative comments when I asked the question there...https://www.facebook.com/groups/livinginfuerteventura/posts/1120682999271837/?comment_id=1120700959270041&reply_comment_id=1120996169240520¬if_id=1711478225968363¬if_t=group_comment

Hi Bill
I personally don't have a problem with you adding a FB link if it can help with info. However, it doesn't work for me, possibly because I don't do FB, it also says Private Group. If anyone can extract the info and copy to here without too much effort I'm sure it would be appreciated.

My issue with Starlink is the apparent lack of customer service. It may be fine if/when it works correctly but if there are any issues then it can take weeks to rectify the problem - not something we would be happy with. All the connections are proprietary to Starlink so you have to buy any extras from them at whatever cost.

It seems they are trying to address it. But I guess the proof will be in the pudding. Free 30 days and then you can cancel at any time as there is no binding contract, and revert to a 'normal' service.

I took the plunge and bought the Gen3 model. It arrived yesterday and I installed it this morning. A lot faster for me but my wife says it is slower for her.

Not sure which model I have tbh. I have found the download speed is excellent, but the router leaves something to be desired. It's ok but not amazing, so it may depend where she is accessing it from?
