Feeling very sorry for all the people due to fly back on those planes who are now stranded for an indefinite period of time. Presumably until the next scheduled departure, and then they will fly over empty planes to take them back? The hotels will at least have those rooms, one would hope, as no new people will be coming from those flights to take over the... But plenty of other airlines are still flying people out, so who knows. It'll be mild bedlam for a bit, I suspect.

Airport showing a lot of delays today, too. Stay safe and keep a level head, everyone!

Empty Jet2 planes flying out from Edinburgh today to bring customers back. Would imagine other ghost flights from other UK airports doing the same thing.  Sitting on an a Ryanair flight from Edinburgh at the moment waiting to take off

The flight from Stansted this morning was supposedly delayed by 42 mins, and again supposedly is due to land in about 10 mins, meaning it will have been in the air for 6 hours?? a little odd perhaps?

Relax, at least you will get here eventually, Dire Air will not cancel as they will have to give you a refund, and the word refund is not in their vocabulary.

Mrs Ted has been in panic mode for the last few days, but due to Mr O'learys kindness she has just managed to get on this evenings flight to Liverpool with just a €9 surcharge. The man isn't known as St Michael for nothing  Wink Wink
