Jet2 Cancellations - how far have they got?

No call, but I've had an email telling me that they will refund my card within 28 days.

I shall wait and see.  If the 28 days go past without a refund arriving in my card account, I shall be asking Mastercard for a refund under Section 75 of the CCA.

As 28 days is a breach of the regulations in any case, I could be "difficult" and invoke Section 75 now, but I shall be a little more patient.

Just as long as I don't end up as a patient before the refund arrives!! Big Grin

 I just received email from them yesterday, telling me the details of my refund & that it is being processed. Can I ask out of interest how long between them informing you they were processing it before it was actually banked into your account?

 Well I am pleased to say that I can answer my own question. Received email telling me they were processing it yesterday & payment into my account late today.

So in future will be using Jet2 for as many flights as I can.

13 May - I had an email telling that they would be refunding me
15 May - An emial with attachments telling me how much they would refund
19 May - Refund to credit card

So pretty quick, once it got started

Jet2 Email Friday 15th, Money in account today.
Can’t be fairer than that.
Well done Jet2, no dramas booking with them again  Smile

My flights with Jet 2 were outbound 3rd May and inbound 13th May.  Both refunded well within 28 day time period.  Contrast Ryanair; I had an inbound flight with them early April; got no refund despite applying for one, offered vouchers which I did not apply for.  I queeried the original purchase with the credit card company who refunded the Money.  It is worth being persistent.
