A Kitesurfer who died in Fuerteventura.
As published by 112 on the website of the Government of the Canary Islands, today a Kitesurfer has died in Fuerteventura, in the municipality of Pájara. The incident occurred today, June 10, at about 10.54 a.m.

- Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) of the Government of the Canary Islands: rescue helicopter
- Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC): medicalized ambulance and basic life support ambulance
- Pájara Firefighters
- Local Police
- Civil Guard
Remarks:
- At the time indicated above, the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert in which they reported that two jet skis had rescued a kitesurfer in an unconscious state, possibly after suffering a blow, and were transferring him to land.
- The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
- Given the seriousness of the incident, the operating room of the 1-1-2 activated the GES helicopter to move to the crash site in anticipation of a subsequent evacuation to a hospital.
- The GES helicopter landed on the beach with the collaboration of the Pájara firefighters who secured the area to ensure a safe takeover.
- On the ground, the affected person was evaluated by the SUC staff and after verifying that he was in cardiorespiratory arrest he performed basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, without success, confirming his death.
- Civil Guard instructed proceedings.
