The Young Orchestra of the Canary Islands will perform on July 10, starting at 8:00 pm, at the Island Auditorium, in Puerto del Rosario.
The training will be directed by Calore Petitdemange, director and soloist with the following program: Story of "The living room" by J. Cage; the storm of "Alcyone" of Marin-Marais; The four seasons of Vivaldi; Romanian Dances by B. Bartok. Patricia Robaina will act as soloist.
Currently integrated by more than 150 musicians, the Canary Youth Orchestra is a project of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Government of the Canary Islands aimed at promoting the formation and orchestral practice of young musicians from the Islands, under the artistic direction of Víctor Pablo Pérez. Its premiere before the public took place in January 2017 with New Year's concerts, celebrating since then 30 in all the islands, in addition to a tour of nine concerts in different cities of China, with which the training took its first international leap.
Some of his musicians also participated in the last edition of the Canary Music Festival, accompanying the Cadaqués Orchestra with the great pianist Joaquín Achúcarro.
