Puerto del Rosario reinforces the public taxi service with inspections and a new Municipal Coordination Center

The Local Police of Puerto del Rosario reinforces inspections to ensure compliance with the quadrant of services of the taxi sector at Fuerteventura Airport, within the framework of the actions promoted by the City Council to offer an effective, accessible and quality public taxi service for all citizens.

The service quadrant organizes shifts and routes that taxi drivers must follow, in order to maximize the availability of taxis in the areas of greatest demand and offer users a reliable and punctual service.

In the words of David de Vera, mayor of Puerto del Rosario, "we want to guarantee that each neighbor and visitor has a taxi service that is up to their needs. From the City Council, we work so that the service is of the best quality and so that compliance with the quadrants benefits both citizens and the sector".
