Man seriously injured when his vehicle overturned in Fuerteventura.

Male seriously injured when his vehicle overturned in Fuerteventura. The event occurred on Tuesday in the municipality of Antigua.

Assessment of those affected provided by the SUC:

• A 45-year-old man who, at the initial moment of care, presented polycontusions of a serious nature, transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura Virgen de la Peña.
  

Services activated by CECOES 1-1-2:

• Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC): a medicalized ambulance and a basic life support ambulance
  
• Firefighters of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura
  
• Civil Guard
  

Remarks:

• At the time indicated above, the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received several alerts informing of the overturning of a vehicle on the road mentioned above.
  
• The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
  
• The SUC staff assessed and assisted the occupant of the car and transferred him to the aforementioned hospital.
  
• Firefighters released the injured man who had been trapped inside the vehicle and secured it.
  
• The Civil Guard regulated traffic in the area and instructed the corresponding proceedings.
