No Movistar Internet in Antigua

No Movistar internet here in Antigua all day yesterday (13/2) and still not back today. Controlled chaos in the local Superdino, as they need the internet for their registers and card readers. Phoned Movistar yesterday, and was told it's an outage that could take up to 2 days to fix. It's like having an arm broken! All the stuff I need to do, but can't... Anyone heard anything more specific since yesterday? My guess is that they need to replace knackered electronics, which have to be airfreighted from Taiwan or somewhere. Never known an outage this long in the 8 years I've been here.

EDIT: Having typed all that, it's just come back on. Catching-up to do.

We use avatal and it was down yesterday until 19;00, then came back on again but is down again this morning, they told me the main Router in Spain is down, we will see what today brings.s
