It's a shame that the All Saints Day bank holiday(1st November) falls on a Sunday and isn't being taken in lieu on Monday 2nd.

Just wanted to remind everyone that tomorrow is Day of the Canary Islands  (Día de las Canarias). If you're planning to do shopping tomorrow, you'll possibly be very disappointed.  Wink  Wink

The Canary Day is celebrated every year on 30th May. The day was chosen as the anniversary of the first session of the autonomous Parliament of the Canary Islands, held on 30 May 1983.

Emmi - they never move a public holiday to a Monday if it falls on a Saturday. They sometimes move a holiday to a Monday if it falls on a Sunday.
