Thus covering the entire summer season that ends on September 30, 2020. The town of Los Molinos is the first time that it incorporates this service on its beaches.

The Consistory complies with this with all the requirements contained in 741 Decree 116/2018, of July 30 , which regulates measures for the application of norms and instructions for human security and for the coordination of ordinary emergencies and of civil protection in beaches and other maritime bathing areas of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands of mandatory compliance, also for unguarded beaches.

The beaches of the capital's municipality have an increasingly prestigious service for its wide coverage in human and technical resources and its provision almost all year round.

For the Mayor of the capital, Juan Jiménez , “ the start of this new service is crucial to ensure the safety of the bathers and tourists who visit us, since it will allow us to provide a better service with more lifeguards, expanding it to new areas that were not previously they were covered and now they will be safe and guarded . ”

For its part, Sonia Álamo, Councilor for Beaches in the City Council, pointed out in this regard that " this is a novel contract, unprecedented in coverage of material and human resources, which includes coverage of the entire summer season for the first time on Los Molinos beach and for another time on Puerto Lajas beach, guaranteeing the full safety of people who visit places like these. ”
