Two people were injured this Sunday, May 25, in a run over that occurred on San Roque Street, in the municipality of Puerto del Rosario (Fuerteventura), according to the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 112 of the Government of the Canary Islands.
The incident occurred at 06:29 hours. In the alert received by 112 it was reported that several people had been run over by a car and that, subsequently, a fight had arisen.
CECOES immediately activated the necessary emergency resources. The Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) mobilized a medicalized ambulance and another basic life support. Members of the Local Police and National Police also intervened.
The SUC health personnel assisted two people. A 46-year-old man had moderate polycontusions, except for complications, and was transferred by medical ambulance to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura.
The second affected person, another man, was treated on the spot as he presented mild pain in the lower limbs.
The Local Police took charge of the corresponding report, while the National Police secured the area and collaborated with the rest of the emergency services.
