Hello everyone. I just wanted to let you know that today would have been Tamara's birthday so I hope you will join me in raising a glass of wine or beer or even a cup of tea in her memory.

I suggest we have Tamara Day on the 5th February each year, so remember this great lady.

Perhaps Sam can set up a banner to appear over the top of all pages, to appear every 5th February.

Thank you for the reminder Mumstaxi.

A great lady was our Tamara, I loved her posts about the butterflies in her garden and the flowers she would grow to feed the caterpillars. Her love of nature in general knew no bounds. She now flies with the birds and the butterflies she so lovingly looked up to. Fly high sweet Tamara.

What a wonderful idea Tom, thank you for suggesting this. I know many of you never met her personally but I cannot express in words what a great lady she was. I first started chatting to her on a volcano You Tube streaming platform a few years ago, we then progressed to an African animal one. Then a fellow chatter started her own Discord channel which we both joined back in 2022. We spoke on there every day and she used to post photos of her lovely garden, her walks with her dog Ronni, the meals she cooked and the Christmas cakes she made, the last time it was 24 in total. Every evening we would take part in a discord quiz but as she had lightening typing fingers she nearly always beat me to the answers. We used to choose questions on animals but when she done it by herself it would always be on food and drink. At one point she managed to answer 169 questions correctly before getting one wrong. I had the pleasure of meeting her twice when she came over to England where I live to visit her family and we were supposed to meet up again last spring but the unfortunate event put paid to that. I was in contact with her up until the day beforehand, then Peter phoned to tell me the sad news.

Thank you Mumstaxi for the reminder.

Whatever you are doing today, please take a moment to think about our wonderful Tamara and the mountain of effort she put in to this forum.

I've been unable to contact her husband, Peter, as the number for Tamara is no longer in service, but please think about him as well.

Finally, perhaps this evening, raise a glass to a great woman.
