State in which the vehicle was left in the traffic accident that occurred today in Fuerteventura Image of the Local Police of La Oliva
Agents of the Local Police of La Oliva in Fuerteventura intervened on the morning of this Sunday, October 26, in a traffic accident that occurred on the FV-1, at kilometer 30.
A single vehicle was involved in the accident, whose driver, the only occupant, was injured. The affected person was treated at the scene by personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) and, subsequently, transferred by medicalized ambulance to the Virgen de La Peña General Hospital for a more detailed assessment.
The vehicle was traveling in a north-south direction when, for reasons that are being investigated, its driver lost control, crossing the median and the protection fences, finally being stopped in the opposite direction of the road.
Members of the following participated in the emergency operation: La Oliva Firefighters, Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), Civil Protection, La Oliva Local Police and the Civil Guard – Attestation Unit, which took charge of the corresponding proceedings.
