Tv and Internet - Movistar problem in Tamaragua
#1
A post copied from The Dark side that has gone unanswered!

"Good Morning,
Is anyone aware of a general Movistar problem in Tamaragua at the moment ?
If not does anyone know the sequence of buttons to press to contact Movistar service as the automated answering speaks far too quickly for my limited Spanish knowledge
Thank you

No idea about the issue nor the sequence you have to use but quite a few systems in the UK would connect you pretty fast with an operator if you start swearing at it. Not sure if it'll work with Movistar but let us know if it does, please Angel

Or you can install a tiny app like CallX, record the call and listen again to work out the sequence on your own.

Going from memory I think it is 1004, the first time you call it you can select your preferred language for that line.

Thanks as always for your responses. I have contacted Movistar previously on the landline  and as advised the number is stored by Movistar who will answer future calls in English.   Unfortunately this time the landline is also not working so using my English mobile I phoned 1004. Each time there was a pause in the automated speech I asked the question “Do you speak English” and on the third occasion was greeted in English by a very helpful operator who after performing various checks advised an Engineer was required and the  fault will be sorted within 48hrs. We shall see !
