My personal opinion (not an expert by any means) is that the activity is now increasing but where this will lead dont think anybody knows.

Enrique has been updating all the activity as it is happening not to scaremonger but to make people aware what could happen .

The facebook page for VolcanesyCienciaHoy  is very interesting to read especially the comments from the islanders they are worried have no official evacuation plan and are feeling and reporting things all the time to IGN.

IGN have at last made a statement to say that a reactivation in Teide could happen due to all this recent new activity CO2 levels are increasing .

Magma is on the move around all the islands is just a wait and see scenario.
