Strange variations on such a small island.
Tindaya has had fierce hot winds/gales for the last few days. I went to Corralejo early this morning and there wasn't a breath of air, just heat, returned to Tindaya around lunchtime and it was still blowing fiercely and apparently hadn't let up all morning. I've been walking my dog early morning and around sunset/dusk, much too hot for her in between times.

Over 30C in shade and over 40C in sun during the day with humidity down to 20 (normally 45-70), consistently the last few days. High 20Cs all night, opening windows doesn't help, it's just even hotter air blowing in. Still, not complaining, much better than cold. Given myself RSI misting my orchids constantly, been misting myself as well!

Tindaya and Corralejo
A gorgeous day, hot but not as intense as the previous few. Still pretty hazy. Low dark band of cloud/haze on the horizon. Tonight's sky has been the clearest I've seen for some weeks, loads of stars.
