09:00 Good morning from a very calm Caleta.
Yesterday. Very much as forecast, temperatures in the mid 30,s through the day, and as forecast, it was a very hazy day, however around 16:00 the wind increased and was gusting 18/20 KPH for the rest of the day.
This morning 07:45 a sky of solid haze no sign of the sun, THe temperature was 25C wind N/easterly 6/8 KPH, it is now 09:00 and nothing has changed except the temperature which is now 28C.
Forecast:- An extremely warm day with temperatures in the mid to high 30,s for most of the day, and possibly into the 40,s from midday, the wind will increase slightly this afternoon but not to exceed 10/12KPH, UV forecast obviously is Extremely High.
As Sam reported yesterday there is a red warning in place for today and currently, an orange one for tomorrow which I would not be surprised to see changed to a red one later today.

Tindaya - Wednesday
Started as per John's report but we have had not the slightest breath of air, or sun, all day. Shade temp reached 38C, open temp reached 43C, pool water 31C. Outside temp still 34C at 11pm!
![[Image: Fy01PF8.jpg]](https://i.imgur.com/Fy01PF8.jpg) wot, no sea and no wind? But this is Fuerteventura!
![[Image: BRArexO.jpg]](https://i.imgur.com/BRArexO.jpg) wot, no Betancuria?
We did have a load of swallows arrive though and stay around all day, I was worried for my day's crop of emerging (5) Monarch butterflies!

Good morning from an extremely warm Caleta.
Yesterday almost as forecast an extremely warm day with temperatures in the mid to high 30,s for most of the day, never quite reached the 40,s in Caleta and the wind remained calm until late evening before strengthening and then only slightly. { I had to go into Antigua yesterday afternoon to the butchers and watched the outside temperature in my car creep up to 42C, according to my phone App it was 43.5C at 16:00 }
Today 07:30 a similar start as yesterday, no blue sky just solid haze, wind N/easterly 8/10 temperature 28C { but with little wind it feels a lot warmer } it is now just after 09:00 there s a little less haze but no sign of any blue sky the temperature is now 30C and still hardly any wind.
Forecast:- An extremely warm day temperatures in the mid to high 30.s al day, although they are forecast to dip slightly early evening, wind to very much remain as is, UV to be Ultra High, today's Orange warning obviously remains in place, and we have an orange warning for Friday.
