Good morning from a clearer Caleta.

Yesterday, with the exception of the wind strengthening significantly from late afternoon, it was gusting 24/26KPH, the forecast was correct a hazy warm day but with temperatures in the mid 30.,s.

Today 07:40, We have circa 95% cloud cover mostly high grey cloud with some patches of blue, particularly to the west, temperature 27C wind N/easterly16/18KPH, it is now just after 09:00, the sky continues to clear and lighten, we probably have 70% high white cloud and 30% blue sky the temperature is currently 29C wind N/easterly 18/20KPH.

Forecast A warm day with some cloud temperatures again in the mid 30,s but the wind is forecast to strengten quite a bit and is forecast to be 40/42KPH by late afternoon / early evening.

Really weird day itis now just after 13:00 and once again the sky to the east is 80% clear while over the mountains to the west it is virtually 100% cloud, the wind hs started to increase and is now gusting 20/24KPH current temperature is 35C.

This mornings forecast showed a 50/55% chance of rain in Antigua, maybe what is accounting for the cloud to the west

Yesterday, as already reported, it started to cloud over around 18:30, and by 19;15 looked as if it was going to throw it down but fortunately did not, but got very blustery around 20:30, and started to get a little chilly.

Today 07:45 about 40% cloud cover temperature 23C wind Northerly 10/12KPH, it is now just after 10:00 and the cloud has been slowly building all morning, reasonably clear to the east but cloudier to the west and north, Temperature 25C wind still northerly  10/12KPH.

Forecast a mostly sunny day with temperatures in the mid to high 20,s.

The Captain is back on the Island, so that is me done until next year Smile Smile Smile

It is now 11:15 and the wind has suddenly increased circa 16/18KPH

I'm back on the island. I arrived at 10.05 from a wet, windy and 10 degrees Stansted Airport. It's 29 in the shade at 2pm in Caleta.

Keep your reports going John if you want to - they're much more detailed than mine. Smile
