The sun finally made a hazy appearance on Christmas morning -

A very blustery day, started quite dull and hazy but by mid morning the sun was warming through the haze. The haze continued all day, as did the wind, but it was a gorgeous day. Wind finally eased early evening.

Good morning from Caleta, yesterday much as forecast, not as windy here in Caleta as where Tamara was the wind had eased by midday to give a very pleasant afternoon and evening.

                              

This morning at 6.30am still dark but clear overhead so the stars could be seen, 10C and a very light breeze.

Today's Caleta forecast -

A mostly hazy sunny day, air quality still classified as UNHEALTHY,  shade temperature to get up to 23C at 1pm through to 4pm with the UV factor reaching 4 at midday, humidity to average 58%

Wind  from the NW first thing  moving W late morning and then to come from the SE at 12noon for the rest of the afternoon before moving E early evening, speeds today 7 to 9 Kmph with odd gusts up to 13Kmph so a very calm day in store.

8am update now it is light - now 11C, a lot of condensation 20 minutes after sunrise the sun has appeared above the bank of cloud out over the sea.

Surprised to see your Christmas overnight temps WMG, we only went down to 16C, quite a difference!

Boxing Day, dawned still, quiet and hazy. Stayed pretty much the same all day, gorgeous/hot/no wind   

 sunset, the sun descended into the thick haze/cloud on the horizon - this was the most colour we got.

Good morning from Caleta, yesterday very much as forecast a hazy sunny day, last night hazy sunset - 

           

This morning at 7.30 13C, little cloud but hazy a very light breeze, bank of cloud / haze blocking out the sunrise to the east, a lot of condensation.

                        

Today's Caleta forecast -

Another sunny but hazy sun day, air quality still UNHEALTHY, shade temperature to get up to 22C from midday through to 5pm, UV factor high of 4 at 12noon, humidity to average 61%

Wind from a generally NE direction all day at 13 to 17 Kmph this morning easing this afternoon & early evening at 7 to 9Kmph so another fairly calm day wind wise.
