Not really sure what the Weather was like in Caleta for most of yesterday as we were out visiting Pajara, Ajuy & Betancuria with visitors, the Weather in the Betancuria area was certainly cloudy with the odd spot of rain very breezy and cool, fleeces needed to be worn.  When we got back to Caleta at 4pm it was sunny and nice and warm out of the wind.

                           

                           

This morning at 6.30am a clear starry sky overhead with cloud out over the sea to the east, light breeze, no condensation and 11C,


Todays Caleta forecast - A mix of cloud and sun nice 9am to 11am then cloud building to 74% at 5pm with a 43% chance of a shower at 10pm tonight, temperatures to reach 20C between 1pm and 5pm, UV factor of up to 5 11am to 2pm, humidity averaging 65% today and the usual forecast of 16km+ visibility.  Wind from the N this morning 8 to 12mph moving NE / ENE this afternoon increasing to 14mph at then easing slightly this evening.

Good morning from Caleta - IMHO yesterday's forecast was completely wrong, the sun shone all day and what cloud there was was high and very wispy it was a great day    

               

               

This morning at 7.30 12C some high cloud to south and west where it was a bit hazy, light breeze and a small amount of condensation.

               

Todays Caleta forecast - a mix of sun and cloud a 7% chance of a shower this morning but as I type this at 8.30am I don't think that will happen.  Temperature to reach 20C at 1pm with a UV factor of up to 5 at 11am to 2pm, humidity averaging 65% and the usual 16km+ visibility.   Wind from NNW this morning moving N at 1pm currently 8mph increasing to 15mph at 10am and increasing to 22mph at 2pm

Tindaya & Corralejo - Monday

A strong chilly wind kept the temperatures down. Lots of grey cloud around which brought several showers. Late afternoon saw a fair amount of sun and was pleasant if in a totally sheltered spot.

We were down the south of the island yesterday with visitors where the Weather was very changeable as can bee seen from the photos, it was quite sunny in Caleta before we left.

               

This morning at 7.30am 10C some cloud, a moderate breeze and no condensation.

                     

Todays Caleta forecast -  A fairly sunny day with cloud cover up to 26% until about 2pm when it will increase and by 4pm it will be 70%, temperature up to 20C at 2pm with a UV factor of 5 between 11am and 2pm humidity averaging  50 to 55% and the usual 16km+ visibility.
Wind from the N most of the day apart from 2pm to 4pm when it will be from NNE wind speeds varying throughout the day 13 to 18mph.

Yesterday morning Caleta was better than forecast at lunch time we headed off to PDR and then El Cotillo where it was very cool in the wind and there was a fair amount of cloud.  As Sam had indicated the sea was rough, some videos on the next 3 post, hope MLA is to green with envy as he is now back in the UK   The sea did start to calm down from about 4.30pm.  The sunset to the west was not so good but the moon rising to the east was fantastic

                           

                           

This morning in Caleta at 6.20am and now 7.30am it is cloudy only a light breeze, no condensation and 14C.

                     

Todays Caleta forecast - Cloud to reduce as the morning progresses and by 2pm we should have below 66% cloud cover and a nice late afternoon, temperature to reach 20C at 2pm with a UV factor of up to 3 at 10am, humidity averaging 70% today with visibility at only 10km this morning increasing to the usual 16km+ by 11am.
Wind from the NNW this morning at 4 to 6mph moving NE / E from midday at 6 to 8mph so a fairly calm day in store
