Well, it is oddly calm here, visibility is a tad iffy but other than that it is a normal morning.

Well the Yellow Dust  warning was correct in that the Calima increased from midday and by 6pm it had totally blocked out the sunset, it was much calmer than forecast wind wise.

                           

                           

This morning at 7.50am it is not as hazy 16C and only a light breeze.  The Yellow Dust and Wind Warning is now in place until 5pm Wednesday

                           

Today's Caleta forecast -

A sunny day made hazy by the Calima, shade temperature to get up to 22C at 3pm for 3 hours and the UV factor will reach 5 / 6 from 11am to 2pm, AIR QUALITY IS POOR.

Wind from the SSE this morning at 13 to 15Kmph to start increasing to 26Kmph by lunchtime moving to come from the E this afternoon at 28 to 30Kmph with gusts up to 33Kmph.

Yesterday was much as forecast a hazy sunny day wind didn't seem quite as strong as forecast here in Caleta but up north at the Dunes it was a strong easterly wind.

                   

                           

This morning at 8am 17C, a hazy sky particularly to the east as the sunrise photo shows, very windy from the east, a lot of dust about, THE YELLOW WARNING FOR WIND & DUST IS STILL IN PLACE UNTIL 5PM TODAY.

           

                   

Today's Caleta forecast -

A sunny morning with cloud increasing from 1pm to 80% cloud cover by 7pm, shade temperature to get up to 20C at 5pm and the UV factor will reach 5 / 6 11am to 2pm, air quality is POOR.

Wind from the E this morning at 24 to 32Kmph with gusts up to 37Kmph mid morning, moving to come from the ESE for a clouple ohours early afternoon before moving to come from the NE late afternoon / evening easing at 13 to 19Kmph.

A hazy sun all day yesterday and the wind did ease during the afternoon. Sorry had friends / neighbours round for lunch so over looked taking photos.

This morning at 7.30 a little more colour in the sunrise sky than the last couple of days, by 8.20am cloud had built up and the sun was hazy15C alot of condensation and only a light breeze.

Hazy sunshine all day, the air quality is POOR this morning and Fair from 2pm, shade temperature to get up to 21C at 2pm and the UV factor will reach 3 to 5 at lunch time.

Saturday early start again off golfing with the lads by 8am. Yesterday very much as forecast, the sun was hazy again as the photos show.

                   

                           

                           

This morning at 7am a cool 12C, cloudless but hazy sky as it gets to first light, a gentle breeze and some condensation on the car roof.

A sunny but hazy day with the shade temperature getting up to 23C at 3pm and the UV factor reaching 4 / 6 at 10am through until 3pm, air quality fair.

Wind from the W first thing at 7 to 9Kmph moving to come from  a generally SW direction by midday for the rest of the day increasing at 22 to 32Kmph with gusts up to 35Kmph.

Odd day yesterday it was a hazy sun most of the day and then clouded over about 4pm, IMO the wind was much stronger than forecast from a southerly direction and it brought calima conditions. We did have a shower of rain about 11pm.

           

                   

This morning at 7.15 much calmer and clearer, wind still from S, 15C, a fair amount of cloud and no condensation.

A mix of sun and cloud this morning and a mostly cloudy afternoon with the shade temperature getting up to 20C from midday through until 5pm, UV factor reaching 4 at 10am to midday, air quality fair.

Wind from generally a North Westerly direction all day 13 to 20 Kmph this morning increasing to 20 to 26Kmph with gusts up to 30Kmph this afternoon and evening.

Tindaya, Saturday. 
We had a little colour in the sky just after 7pm,very pretty. Rain started at 10pm and stopped just after midnight. We had about 1cm, great for the garden and the air feels so much better now.

Good morning from Caleta where IMO yesterday was better than forecast as the afternoon cloud was much less than forecast and it was very pleasant.
