Tindaya, the blustery gales started yesterday evening, from the East, and have not eased all night.
Good morning from Caleta where yesterday was much as forecast, wind but not as windy as the north of the island where I went with friends, definitely a calima giving a very hazy sunset.
This morning at 7.45am it was 17C but in the wind felt much cooler, 2 layers of cloud as can be seen in the first photo, no condensation.
Today's Caleta forecast -
A mix of cloud and sun, no rain forecast, shade temperature to get up to 22 / 23C at 3pm with the UV Factor reaching 5 at midday, air quality POOR.
Wind from a generally NE direction all day at 20 kmph with gusts up to 32 kmph this morning, easing slightly this afternoon 13 to 15 kmph with gusts up to 28 kmph.

from Diario:
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has decreed the yellow warning for wind in the Canary Islands.
This Tuesday will affect the eastern islands along with Tenerife and La Gomera.
Specifically, the Aemet in the Canary Islands warns of very strong wind gusts that will reach 70 kilometers per hour, although occasionally they may exceed 80 kilometers per hour.
This is a southeast wind that will have an impact, mainly, on the west and north slopes.
This Tuesday the notice will come into force at 3.00 am for the islands of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, and at 9.00 am for Gran Canaria, Tenerife and La Gomera.
The notice will end for all at 5:59 p.m., according to Aemet.

The gales finally subsided late afternoon but I think they are due to return.
Hope WMG is OK, he's missed a couple of updates which is unusual.
