Good morning from Caleta, well the forecast after 9am yesterday was wrong and it didn't rain during the afternoon and we had a nice sunset. We have had heavy rain during the night with strong winds from the south blowing the rain against the bedroom shutters.
At 6.30am this morning it has dried up, 15C but feels much cooler in the strong southerly wind, and a few high clouds.

Tindaya. A really cold day until about 3pm when the wind dropped and the warmth of the hazy sun could be felt. Very pleasant couple of hours working in the garden but around 5pm the cloud increased and the temps dropped away rapidly again. Very poor visibility all day.

The calima was disgusting today. From where I was in Corralejo I couldn't see Lanza in the morning, soon after lunch Lobos disappeared, and by mid afternoon the Campanario clock tower had gone and I was only in the complex next door! Driving home to Tindaya around 5.30pm all cars had full headlights on - it was like driving through fog.
