What's the weather like? - January 2021

Good morning from Caleta, sorry a bit late this morning.  Yesterday as forecast when the sun started to go down it quickly lost it's heat and felt quite cool in what light breeze there was.

                   

This morning at 8.30am 18C, strange full cloud cover overhead with a bright streak out to the east over the sea, not a breath of wind and no condensation.

                           

Today's Caleta forecast -

The cloud should clear by 11am to leave a mostly sunny day, shade temperature to get up to 22C from 1pm through to 5pm, usual UV factor level of 4 from 11am to 2pm, air quality fair today.

Wind from the NNW at 11 to 15Kmph this morning moving to come from a generally North Easterly direction this afternoon at 9 to 15 Kmph with gusts up to 19Kmph early evening.

Tindaya
Day much as forecast for Caleta, beautiful by mid morning. Slightly less breeze than forecast. Got very chilly as sun went down. GC was visible in between cloud on horizon.

Yesterday very much as forecast, a few of the golfers commented how hot it was in the sun mid afternoon,  as Tamara said it soon goes cool when the sun goes down.

           

                   

This morning very similar to yesterday, grey cloud all round apart from the bright band on the horizon to the east over the sea, the last photo shows how low the cloud is over the mountain, 17C hardly a breath of wind and only a little condensation on the car.

                   

                   

Today's Caleta forecast -

A mainly cloudy day with the best part of the day late afternoon early evening, shade temperature to get up to 22C from 12 noon through until 5pm, with the UV factor only reaching 2 from midday to 2pm, air quality fair.

Wind from the N at 11 to 15Kmph with gusts up to 19Kmph this morning moving to come from the NE by 2pm for the rest of the day at 19 to 20Kmph with gusts up to 28Kmph.

9.25am update - whilst neither of the forecasts I look at forecasted rain it is currently raining over Monta Blanca (Chipmunk Mountain) and drizzling down with us .

12.30pm update -

It didn't rain only light drizzle with us, a lot of cloud to the N,  W & SW, out to the E it is getting better. Currently 22C in the shade.
