What's the weather like? - January 2024

It's another early start for me tomorrow so I will post now, and try to do an update by midday tomorrow.

Today was as forecast except for the temperature which never got above 21c, but it was a pleasant enough day out of the wind. And The Calima has eased slightly.
Tomorrow's forecast, The temperature to reach 23c with an Easterly wind circa 17/19. with no rain forecast.
A couple of websites are predicting temperatures I the mis 20,s for the weekend, we can only hope.

Good morning, from Caleta.
At 07:30 the temperature was 16c with an Easterly wind of 18/20 Kph with some scattered cloud, currently the temperature is 20C feels like 18c in a still Easterly wind of 25/28Kph cloud cover is 70/80% mostly overhead and to the West, forecast for he rest of the day is similar to what we have now, Air quality remains unhealthy, sunset 18:30.

Good Morning, from Caleta.

Yesterday. - Yesterday was much as reported in my midday update, but mid-afternoon it did clear somewhat and the wind eased, so quite a pleasant late afternoon/early evening.
Today. - At 07:45, we had a temperature of 16c, With a Westerly wind of 6/8KPH and no actual cloud, just some haze over the Eastern horizon cover.
Forecast:- A day with a lot of hazy sun, the temperature is to reach 23c by early afternoon, the wind East/S/Easterly by mid-morning and increase slightly 12/14KPH.
UV. currently 1 to reach 4.

Air quality. UNHEALTHY

Good morning, from Caleta.
Yesterday. - Yesterday was a slightly better day than forecast, the haze had burned off by noon, leaving a virtually cloudless sky, the temperature at 13:00 was 23c, and some light clouds started to build circa 17:00 but this was compensated by the wind dropping to 1/2KPH.
Today. - At 07:45 we had a temperature of 16c, With a West/N/Westerly wind of 5/7Kph, and no actual cloud, just some haze over the Eastern horizon. Forecast:- A sunny day with some haze to the East, the afternoon temperature to reach 24c, and the wind is forecast to move Westerly but not to increase, all in all, a very nice day for the end of January

And in Tindaya we had easterly gales all night and now from south! Nice and warm and sunny though and no cloud. Also no water for a few days so garden crying out for it now 🤷

Good morning from Caleta, yesterday very much as forecast, mid afternoon it did get up to 37C in the sun and 27C in the shade but it did feel cool after the sun had set. As JohnR mentioned a very nice day for the end of January.

This morning at 7.30am it was 13C with a hazy sky hardly a breath of wind and strangely no condensation.

Been very much as forecast, very surprised what little wind we have had here in the Caleta area over the last 3 day hardly a breath currently. It got up to 38 in the sun and 29 in the shade this afternoon.

Good morning from Caleta, yesterday as already reported very much as forecast, when out and about it was very hazy but you could definitely see further than 1.6Km and the sea was vey calm.

This morning at 7.30am it was 13C with a hazy sky to the east over the sea and a few high thin clouds to the west, not a breath of wind and again strangely no condensation.
