And far,far away in another land (Tindaya), the forecast has been pretty accurate! A bit of sun at lunchtime and then back to solid grey cloud cover. Working in the garden and I've got a sweatshirt back on 😢 22C and a strong cold wind.

As per my post mid afternoon, a far better day than forecast, although cloud started to build again early evening.

Yesterday.
The cloud took longer to start to clear than forecast, but it was a reasonable afternoon, temperatures in the mid to high 20,s and out of the wind it was pleasant enough.

Yesterday developed into a far far better day than was forecast, the wind had eased and the cloud had completely cleared by 13:00 and temperatures were in the mid /high 20.s by 12: and in the low 30,s by 13:30 the outside temperature was still 22C at 21:30

It rained here as well, not a heavy shower but enough to get some cushions wet, and it was not on my forecast either Tamara, my system is when I get up I head outside and see what the sky is showing then check the sensors are OK, then after coffee I check through 3/4 websites and try to compare them, then do the forecast, this morning no one mentioned rain, but I had to be in Antigua this morning around 9:00, and looking at the sky there I thought , we have it wrong again,   however despite the shower it is pretty much as forecast, shade temperature is 26C with a light breeze.

Forecast a mostly cloudy day, with temperatures in the mid 20,s wind 10/12KPH, and to move throughout the day with some sites predicting it will move From Northerly to N/W then Southerly then  move again East, before moving N/Easterly this evening

From Monday the temperatures will suffer a significant rise passing the 30 degrees in almost the entire island.

May ends hot with the fall of the Trade Winds. Temperatures will rise, both minimum and maximum and can be measured above 30 degrees, especially on Tuesday, with weak winds that will rotate from south to south west at least until Thursday.

 

It will be this day when the wind will again have a northern component and temperatures will drop slightly, but the summer Weather will continue with weak to moderate winds, as we say of the northeast component.

 

As for the state of the sea, in the east you can talk about almost "calm chicha", with very quiet days in terms of waves. In the north and west of Fuerteventura you can measure up to one meter in some areas, and although caution is always recommended it will be very pleasant for bathing.

Yesterday a much better afternoon than forecast, by  14;30 almost all he cloud had cleared leaving temperatures in the high 20,s low 30,s with a gentle breeze.

Forecast a sunny day with temperatures in the low 30,s wind to remain calm all dy but to increase slightly late afternoon 5//7KPH.

It is now 08:30 most of what cloud there was is dispersing and current temperature is 22C

Despite the announcement of high temperatures over the next couple of days there is no Weather warning in place as of yet, all the Weather websites show all the right components for it little or no wind and continuing to be southerly.
