Friday's pics. The tropical storm Theta has been moving across the sea to the west, I've been following it all day. Many times it looked as if we were about to get heavy rain but each time just a few drops. It skirted us to the north. Watching the Weather radar it was being pulled into the Bocayne Channel between FV and LZ. What we have had is solid cloud most of the day and gale force ESE winds - horrible. There's also been thunder and this evening plenty of lightning over to the NW (in the tropical storm).

Yesterday a very dull overcast day, but it was warm and humid again at times, sorry no pictures they would be dull & boring, there was a little rain during the night.

This morning at 7.30am 18C the cloud cover is is not as heavy, again hardly a breath of wind plus no condensation.

                              

Today's Caleta forecast -

Again a mainly cloudy day however there will be less than the last couple of days, it will be a warm one as the shade temperature will get up to 28C at 2pm with an average temperature of 26.6C from 10am to 6pm, the UV factor will reach 4 from midday for a couple of hours and the average humidity will only be 57% today.

Wind from the S /SW this morning moving SSE this afternoon before return to come from the S from 5pm, speeds throughout the day will be 7 to 11Kmph with gusts up to 19Kmph so another calm day.

Tindaya. Still v strong SE winds, all night in fact, temp didn't drop below 26C during night, now 27C. Solid mass of cloud heading in from SW, remains of Theta methinks. Calima map shows we are in edge of one hence the warmth and dust. We seem to be caught in 2 different Weather systems.

9.45am update from Fuerteventura Golf Caleta -  a light wind has just picked up, there is some odd patches of blue in the sky and it is 25C, so as Tamara indicates the island seems to be in 2 different Weather systems.

The 2 Weather systems continued to battle it out today. Many times it looked like we were about to get rain but it passed us by. Despite the cloud (no real sun until mid afternoon) the temp was 30C+ in the shade. Sun didn't hang around for long before the cloud joined up again. Best bit was the wind eased to virtually nil - hooray! Temp still 27C as I type and no breeze. Several people remarked on how muggy it was today - wrong - they were just hot - the Relative Humidity stayed below 30 today, the RH was in the 70s yesterday! RH is something I keep a very close eye on for my orchids. Low RH is typical of a calima here.

Good morning from Caleta where it was another overcast and hot day yesterday with light breeze and the odd gust of wind

This morning at 7.15am it is still overcast, 16c, not a breath of wind and no condensation.

                              

Today's Caleta forecast -

Another mostly cloud day hot day with the shade temperature getting up to 28C at 1pm but the average for the 12 hours to 7pm will be 25.8C with a UV factor high of 2 from 10am to 2pm, humidity will average  58%

Wind starting in the NNE at 4 to 7Kmph moving to come from the S by 11am at 13 to 17Kmph with gusts up to 19Kmph  for the rest of the afternoon and early evening.

Tindaya - what slight breeze we had today came from the West and there was a layer of sea mist/fog this morning.



Overall a very still day, pretty hot and again low Relative Humidity. As dusk fell a layer of sea mist started heading inland.

Well yesterday was much as forecast overcast and warm however the cloud did break up about 5pm to give a wonderful sunset sky.

                         

                                 

This morning at 7.30am 17C a lot of blue sky again hardly any wind and no condensation.

                

                        

Today's Caleta forecast -

A mix of sun and cloud but mainly sunny, shade temperature to get up to 28C at 3pm with an average temperature of 25.75c for the 12 hours from 8am, the UV factor will reach 4 from 11am to 2pm and the humidity will average a fairly low 50% today.

Wind from the WNW this morning at 6 to 9Kmph moving NE / ENE from midday for the rest of the afternoon and early evening at 6 to 11 Kmph with gust up to 24Kmph.

Yesterday slightly better than forecast in that there was less cloud and more sun and it was a warm one with only a light wind, look at that temperature in the sun at 9.05am 34C 😁😁😁.

                        

This morning at 7.30am 17C only a few clouds very light breeze and no condensation.

A mostly sunny day with the shade  temperature getting up to 28C at 3pm with a UV factor of 4 from 11am to 2pm, humidity to average a low 49% today.

Wind from the NW this morning at 7Kmph moving NE /E from midday for the rest of the day at 7 to 11Kmph with odd gusts up to 17Kmph.

Well it was HOT HOT HOT In El Cotillo today...very warm slight breeze and a high of 34 degs in the shade!!
