A disgusting day with foul air full of dust and strong to gale force winds.

The gale eased somewhat towards midnight but returned with a vengeance around 4am. Still from the east. Visibility/air quality has cleared a lot thank goodness. Still loads of flies.

A lovely day, warm and breezy and better visibility although still a bit hazy. Gran Canaria visible at sunset.
