While you are searching for someone local, ask them their options of Goldacre.

We didn't buy through Goldacre - assume you mean ask them their opinion of Goldacre?

Wouldn't trust their sales team as far as I could throw them. Don't know about their rentals side.

I know Nic Tan who is part of their sales team, and in my opinion, he is a  true gentleman, and frighteningly truthful, if we were to consider another purchase or the sale of our current property my first call would be to Nic, obviously a personal opinion and speaking from experience.

That latest post seems to balance the opinions nicely, which is all they are of course,  opinions based on own experience, my experiences with them were only positive, they were very professional and wished me well when i advised i had agreed to purchase through someone else.

We bought through Carmenvillizan & used Fuerteventura Law for the legal side. Both very professional & honest (in our view, although I appreciate everyone’s view is different/personal). Karen (British) in Carmenvillizan was straightforward & honest (as far as we could judge), didn’t gild things up to much & gave realistic answers to questions. Louise at Fuerteventura Law is Scottish & again straightforward. Would recommend both. IMO

Our experience of Mr Tan is quite the opposite I'm afraid.

I I can’t remember who I bought from originally in Correlejo but they are now gone out of business but my solicitor athe time was ADR see http://www.adrlawyers.net/Aguado_Damsell...ut_us.html

We later purchased in Caleta and used Carmenvillizan and again used ADR for our solicitor even though they were based in Correlejo.

We used Goldacre to sell the place in Correlejo a few years ago, Alex handled the sale, we sold at a bad time but not convinced he did everything to get us the best price. Again used ADR for the solicitor.

My recommendation for solicitor would be ADR, Jacobo who handled all our purchases and sale was extremely professional in his approach, he had my power of attorney on all cases.

Buying from Carmens was via an agent initially but then completed via Bianca who is Carmens daughter, they are a very professional run organisation even if Carmen can be a bit cranky herself. 😁. I would recommend them.
