We've got a view of the Puerto dock from our place and I must say I am surprised at the frequent cruise ships docking. It seems that "Europa 2" and "Mein Schiff 1/2" alternate somewhat, typically docking at around sunrise and leaving at sunset the same day.
With all the very strict rules in place for international travel, new COVID variants etc, one would perhaps think that cruises, certainly international ones, would not be allowed? I am curious as to what the rules and practices currently are around these cruises.
The other day I saw groups of about 12 passengers having an outing on electric scooters. I wouldn't think these scooters would be allowed on the pedestrian promenade from Los Pozos towards Playa Blanca, but to be fair they were all driving extremely orderly - see the attached picture. I must admit it made me think of the stereotype of orderly Germans!

Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.
