A man and a woman are arrested for the violent robbery in a villa in Fuerteventura.
Agents of the National Police have arrested a man and a woman in Puerto del Rosario, aged 27 and 29 respectively, both with numerous Police records, as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of robbery with violence and injuries.
On the morning of May 23, a notice was received on telephone number 091 of the National Police, in which a citizen stated that he had just been the victim of an attempted robbery in his home in Puerto del Rosario.
The Police officers went to the scene immediately, once there they interviewed the complainant who told the Police that moments before, he had heard the sound of glass in his home and when he went to the main entrance, he observed a man and a woman in the room. Inside, the man lunged at him and hit him in the head with the butt of a firearm. After managing to escape the attack, he yelled at them that he was going to call the Police, at which point they fled.
With the physical characteristics provided, the agents could identify the alleged perpetrators, the man was a known criminal with numerous Police records. For this reason, several units went to his family home since he could be there.
After entering the home with the mother's authorization, they located the author in a room of the house. He ignored the instructions of the agents, threatening them from inside with a firearm.
Finally, this individual was able to change his attitude and immediately proceeded to his arrest. The woman was located and immediately detained in the capital of Majorca.
Both were taken to Police stations and, once the Police proceedings were completed, they were placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority, decreeing the man's preventive detention.
