Body of bather recovered from sea - Cofete area

The GES helicopter locates the body of a man floating in the sea on the coast of Fuerteventura, in the area of Playa de Cofete, municipality of Pájara.
Around 9:44 p.m. on Saturday, September 10.

Remarks:[/size]

• At the time indicated above, the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert in which the disappearance of a bather on the beach mentioned above was communicated.
  
• The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
  
• Helicopter Helimer and a Salvamar boat of the Maritime Rescue began the search work on the coast.
  
• During the morning of Sunday a GES helicopter located the body of a person floating in the sea and a Salvamar Maritime Rescue boat recovered it from the water and transferred it to the Morro Jable pier
  
• Once on land, the Civil Guard guards the body of the affected person, a deceased man, until the arrival of the judicial authority and instructs the corresponding proceedings.
