Hi John.
No tax, value was about 50E.
I emailed over the weekend and received parcel on Mon or Tuesday, can't remember now.

A small tracked package with NIE number that was sent from Germany on 22
February arrived on 14
April (just over 7 weeks)
Here's an article posted today on the
Diario de Fuerteventura website. It does not sound very encouraging:
https://www.diariodefuerteventura.com/no...-lanzarote
This has now been going on for about seven months and and it does not seem to be getting any better.

I read an article a month or two back where someone had completed a survey on World Postal systems as you would expect Switzerland was number one with Austria Germany and the Netherlands in the top 10/12, Spain 57th behind Albania, Croatia and Morocco
Enough said I think

Ok I go to the post office yesterday and pay the enquired amount, it was stamped entered on the system and returned to me, so I ask what happens now " you wait " Ok I am used to that, then an hour ago I get this :-
"Good morning.
The document we are requesting we do not have and we do not see it in the conversation history. This document is required by Pharmacy to be able to carry out its control, without it they will never allow the import. Finally, we inform you that the payment of the budget does not imply the release of the shipment, but supposes the beginning of the customs procedure. In your case, first you have to carry out the Pharmacy control that can take up to 20 days, and once we have the resolution we dispatch the merchandise before the Tax Agency waiting for us to release the import, to be able to release and process its shipment to destination.
Best regards."
Has anyone any clue what they are talking about as I am totally confused.

Now this is getting laughable, received a customs form in the post for the phone they told me they had lost so it must have turned up after my sister tried to reclaim the cost from the Royal Mail, might be a tip for others in future

Further to the above I have today been back to the post office, and he was as confused as me until he looked up the documents, and I had omitted the specific use, which he has now added and resent, i await further emails
