Do naturists use hired sun loungers at Morro del Jable?
#11
Thanks again to everyone who gave such useful advice. Just to relate my own experience for future travellers, I found the situation pretty much as described by other contributors to this thread. The beach is perfect for naturists from lifeguard station T3, which is just beyond Hotel Robinson Club as you walk away from the town centre. If you want sun loungers there are three sections of loungers to the left of T3 (as you look at the sea) all with many people naked. The next three groups of loungers are nearer T4 lifeguard station, opposite the lighthouse, and of these the two sections nearest the lighthouse were less naturist friendly. Along the beach further northwards (away from the town centre) there were less naturists as this is opposite a lot of large hotel complexes… that being said the beach is so wide that you can walk nude along the beach skirting around some of the main gatherings of people along the seashore if that feels more comfortable. We had a fabulous week in Morro Jable at the end of October and loved the relaxed and naturist friendly atmosphere. We are looking to book again for next year already!

That's true only if it bothers you. Every year you'll find plenty of naked people.

Also if you don't need a lounger and don't mind walking just keeping walking. Around the bend you'll start seeing a more protected area that gets less wind. Usually a fair percentage of naturist.

Thls is useful. Thanks. So most of the sunbed areas are mixed but the ones closer to T3 are more nude? I have seen this change each year for some reason.

When we were there the sunbeds right beside T3 and T4  had less naturists but those in the stretch between between the lifeguard stations had more naturists. From other comments here it looks like the best naturist spots may change from time to time but you will find plenty of naked people along the beach and on sunloungers one way or another.

Hi Barry
Glad that you had a good time and thanks for the feedback. We have just booked for September in Jandia. Walked past a travel agents slightly inebriated and booked on spec as the half board price being offered was about what we usually spend on self catering. There followed an anxious trip home to check if the hotel was a dump! Seems ok.
Will checkout your suggestions as they are well within walking distance. We usually pick a car up at the airport and keep if for the fortnight but the deal includes transfers and as we will be arriving late we will use them and maybe rent more selectively.
Got to say that we are both desperate for a relaxing sun holiday after a torrid year

As regards numbers of nudes on the beach, it also depends a bit on who has arrived on any particular week, we stayed at the Royal Palm in October 22 & 23, a 30 minute beach stroll north of the lighthouse.

In 22 there were very few nude on the beach from in or around the Royal Palm until you walked a mile north to just beyond the Princess Hotels, in 23 there were loads more, there were always a few in 22 right under the cliff & in the stone circles just below Magic Life but in 23 many more & out on the sand & in the water too, it seems like sometimes everyone is waiting for someone to strip off first & then they follow,
