A helicopter of the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) rescues a woman on the coast of Fuerteventura, on Thursday, January 13, at 2:17 p.m.
The woman, located in Playa del Valle, in the municipality of Betancuria,had moderate trauma to the collarbone, except for complications, and was transferred by ambulance of basic life support from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura.
The Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands activated the services of a rescue helicopter of the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES), a basic life support ambulance of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), Local Police, Civil Guard, Emergency Group of the Cabildo de Fuerteventura and Maritime Rescue.
Remarks:
At 2:17 p.m., the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert, made from an SOS pole located in the area, in which it was reported that a person had rushed to the sea in the area of Playa del Valle, in the municipality of Betancuria. The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources. Rescuers from the GES helicopter proceeded to rescue the victim from the area where she was and evacuated her to safety. Once on the ground, the SUC staff assessed and assisted the rescued woman to transfer her to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura.
