Hi Guys thanks for replies, yes I have been into my online account via my laptop and still can't see any meter readings, as I said I read the meter when we arrive at and leave the villa so happy with the units consumed, not having their read just bu**ers up my spreadsheet  Smile Smile

I will have to see if I can get the app and see how that  works

Our July bill is laid out differently as well. The meter readings are on the reverse, last item. Our prices appear to be the same.

Just a reminder for anyone on one of Endesa's plans that give cheaper electricity during off peak hours. The hours change with the clock change:

Endesa – Product: Tempo Nocturna

Summer Period of cheap rates: 11pm – 1pm following day
Winter Period of cheap rates: 10pm – 12 noon

‘Summer’ and ‘Winter’ as per March and October clock changes.

You may need to postpone putting the dishwasher on until later at night but you have an extra hour of 'morning' for the washing machine  Wink  Don't forget to alter any electronic timers if you haven't already done so. I have one on my water heater, no point in reheating the water after our evening showers before it's wanted again the next morning.

I am arriving to this rather late, and I understand why there is confusion because the terminology in Spanish does not literally translate directly into the English electricity billing terminology:

To clarify the following is how standing charges are calculated, on an ANNUAL basis according to the contracted potencia (Kw's)

= (IGIC Reducido(1.03) ((Supply Potencia(Kw)*(Potencia Access (€/kW)+Potencia Cost (€/kW)))*(1+Electricity Tax (%)))(1.07*Meter Rental (€/day)

The last time I checked the numbers was 6 months ago and this equated to €267 per 365 days, using the following rates:

Supply Potencia (Kw)
5.75
Potencia Access (€/kW)
38.043426
Potencia Cost (€/kW)
3.113
Electricity Tax (%)
0.0511269632
Meter Rental (€/day)
0.026764

For anyone wishing to reduce their Potencia, using my numbers I calculate that they can reduce their standing charge by €41.15 per year per Kw

Got our July one last week I think. Do you have the Endesa App ? I find it the easiest way. On Apple so assume on Android as well. Our last bill was for no usage so can’t help with details, it was just basically the regular charge for connection, cheers . . Ron

Is this available on the UK store or the Spanish one only? Are there any English language options?

Hi Ducks,
I only use Apple but got it from the App Store on my phone. Think that was likely in U.K. but I think once in the Apple shop it’s available anywhere. Can’t help with Android, sorry, never use it . . Cheers . . Ron

Unfortunately not Ron. The app store has either a UK or Spanish billing address registered for you, and according to the country there are different apps available to you. It does not mean all the apps will be in English or Spanish language, it is just á licensing restriction...

But I presume you have registered your Apple account in the UK which means the endesa app must be available in both Spanish and UK App stores so that is good 😉
Not all Apps are though.

Showing on the (Apple) UK store for me under "Endesa Clientes". Unfortunately, I don't have the relevant information here, and will have to wait until we're back on the island to set it up, but it looks like it will be very useful to have in the future.
