Trying to sign up to the app now and it's an absolute nightmare! Allowed us to input our foreign mobile number, but no confirmation texts could get through. (Phone's working; I checked.) Used the Spanish number and no problem.
Input all details, supposed to get a verifying email, that didn't come through either. Won't let me log in without it. (Not in Spam; I've checked.)
Contact support, and she tells me "the chat has had an incidence" and has to be restarted and put me to the back of the queue again.
Now they won't talk to me until I give them a photo of my NIE! Is this normal?!

I moved from Endessa about three years ago because of their buls**t, and complete lack of any sort of customer service, as soon as I told them I was leaving all of a sudden I was inundated with special offers to stay, all my life I have stod by the maxim if you decide to leave and go elsewhere do it, my current bills ara about 15/18% less than Endassa, I obviously have no idea what the comparison would be had I taken up one of their offers.

Who did you move to?
I finally got the blasted app installed, and I have to admit I am very impressed with it so far. Worth all the hassle, I suspect. The reason for all of this was some much higher bills than last year, but according to the app, it's due to higher usage. Lockdown charge, I suppose! They also seem to have hour to hour information on usage, so I presume there is a smart meter installed— news to us? In any case, the app itself is genuinely excellent in terms of showing information, and I would recommend it. My only gripe is that when you click "download bill" in the clear and concise English-language app, you get the same confusing Spanish-language bill that comes by post!
Does anyone know what this OK LUZ thing is? We seem to be charged for it monthly without knowing what it is. In the version on the app, the breakdown shows Power (standing charge), Usage (peak and off-peak) and then "Other", which seems to be a percentage of the total. Anyone know what that applies to? Is it the same thing? Would appreciate any info; it's a small enough amount, but it's driving me crazy.

OK Luz, according to internet search:
With OKLuz Assist, you will receive a service of unlimited repairs of your home's electrical installation and, annually, one household appliance repair (white goods) and one electric boiler repair.
(This confirms what I thought I remembered in general, but forgetting the detail.)

What did you change to, and where did you get the information on what was best?

Morning Ducks - When I first went on the app and logged in it brought up my recent usage and as I scrolled down it gave me an offer for you option which I selected and that took me to 3 selection menus where I chose what I was looking for and it came up with the One Luz Nocturna tariff which is what I have requested to change to having confirmed my details and attached a PDF copy of my last bill, I am still awaiting the confirmation email.
Hope that helps

No such offer for me! Will keep an eye on it, though, so thanks for the heads up at this is a thing which can happen.

We are with Endesa and just received our first debit from our bank - can anyone help with trying to access my account and obtain a copy of the bill, i guess best to try the app first?
I have the contract the solicitor set up so should have all the account details.
Thank you.
