Four people have been rescued from the sea when they were in distress on a beach in the north of Fuerteventura, one of whom is in serious condition with symptoms of drowning, 112 has reported.
The event took place at around 3:00 p.m., on the beach of El Moro, in the municipality of La Oliva.
The bathers were about a hundred meters from the coast when they called for help.
The personnel of the Red Cross Beach Rescue Service rescued three affected and another reached the shore by his own means
One of them had serious symptoms of drowning and was transferred in an ambulance to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura.
