I had the Net Service engineer out again a couple of days ago. He “tweeked” some settings on the router but not much else really. Most interesting aspect was we had roughly 12mbt download (he was in about 11am) so not unexpected at that time. We are paying for the “Nos” package 48€ a month for 24mbt down but only as PAYG when we are here which I mentioned to him, his answer was that for 24 we would have to sign a new contract get a new antenna & pay every month !!! Although the Nos at 24 is still being advertised on their vans. Anyone else experience this ???

Good Morning Ron.
We were on the 12Mbps tariff which at the time of signing was 48€ monthly, but as we are virtually constant users did not have to pay for installation, then someone told me they were now selling the 24 Mbps package for the same Money, so I contacted them and was told they could upgrade me, buy it would require e new Antenna, as the one they originally supplied was incomparable, so we went ahead, but in all honesty it makes very little difference, we get circa 23 Mbps in the mornings, but after 17:00 we are lucky to get 6Mbps and for the last week less than that.

Hi John,
Yeah, we paid for installation as we were only part time users, only paid for a month (minimum connection time) when we were out. We had 24 daily on our last visit in daytime but like you dropped to barely above zero all evening & the “jitter” value was in the hundreds which meant the signal was so broken up that nothing would run anyway, even on a tablet. My main beef at the moment is that they have now cut our normal actual speed in half by changing the conditions of what we can get on PAYG which I find strange 🤔🤔
The satellite system I mentioned by the way seems to be great, we have only had it a few days but like day & night against TV through the Internet. All in cost was a bit over 500€ but well worth it to not hear my other half growling 😂🤣😂🤣 every 5 minutes when trying to watch her soaps
