I agree, does look rather small at present. I wonder if there will be more steelwork to go up though as there is an awful lot of car park for such a small shop.

There's more steelwork to go up.  There are mountings for it further along.

i would guess the superstructure that has been erected is less than half of that.

Don’t think much of their blockwork skills 🤣🤣 I saw an advert on Facebook for something similar, no mortar between the vertical faces of the blocks 😱😱. Not something I would be happy with but it appears to be the norm there 🤔🤔

I took some photos there yesterday afternoon.  The builders would have wondered why they were being photographed twice in a day.

The new(est) Lidl near to me is almost completed - car park tarmaced - windows all in situ - just needs a few trolleys and we're good to go.

It’s possible  the reason for this could be, allowing for horizontal expansion in the heat.
