A man who died after a traffic accident in Fuerteventura.
A man died last morning, about 04.37 hours, in a traffic accident that occurred in the area of the La Capellania in the municipality of La Oliva.
The Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert at the appointed time communicating that a vehicle had collided with a fence in the aforementioned area, activating emergency resources.
Firefighters secured the crashed vehicle and freed its occupant from inside the passenger compartment.
The staff of the SUC assessed and assisted the affected, who during the care suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest. After practicing advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers without obtaining results, he confirmed his death.
Civil Guard made the corresponding attestation.
